In 2001, Cemo and his partner, Joel Cohen founded Investment Retrievers, Inc. a company that acquires and services the portfolios of credit impaired and under performing consumer loans and credit card accounts from banks directly. The company prides itself in its beneficial relationships with banks and debt buyers. Investment Retrievers, Inc. has recently been named one of the top ten small collection companies to work for in the United States.
Cemo is very dedicated to supporting causes in the Sacramento Region. Over the past 45 years, Cemo has donated several million dollars to causes such as the expansion of Mercy Hospital in Folsom, the building of a new addition to the Crocker Art Museum, Jesuit High School, the Wellspring Foundation, River Oaks Center for Children, Lupus Foundation and Alzheimer’s Foundation.
